The fact of growing up in Washington DC and listening to the music of „Ray Charles“ „Dave Brubeck“ „Mose Allison“ all this music rang through the house on a normal day! big thanks to „Earline“ (my mother) where I heard these songs and even ones she made up and sang to me! who turned a light on in my mind that still shines today!

Die „Funky Soul Kitchen“ ist eine Hausparty für die Ohren! Ein „Mix Tape“ des Soul Funk Jazz, das Einflüsse der großen Künstler enthält, die vor uns kamen und die wir heute feiern! „Curtis Mayfield“ „Marvin Gaye“ „Earth Wind & Fire“ „Eddie Harris“ „James Brown“ „Temptations“ . Die Tatsache, dass ich in Washington DC aufgewachsen bin und die Musik von „Ray Charles“ „Dave Brubeck“ „Mose Allison“ gehört habe, all diese Musik schallte an einem normalen Tag durch das Haus! Ein großes Dankeschön an „Earline“ (meine Mutter), bei der ich diese Lieder gehört habe und sogar welche, die sie erfunden und mir vorgesungen hat! die ein Licht in meinem Kopf angezündet hat, das bis heute leuchtet!
